Thank-you for replying to my letter. I am looking for a unit that allows family and is as authentic as possible. My husband is very interested in the history but has never had the opportunity to be involved with renacting. I on the other hand started out as a camp follow at age 13 and stayed in it until I was 19 and went into the military soon after. I would really like to find a unit that is willing to help teach my husband about military movements and the history to. I played a soldier when I was 16 and loved it and have all of my uniforms and equipment which my husband could use. And I think my daddy would have a hairy canary if I went to the blue. Daddy has been in renacting for years I think almost 15 years. I think he would have some words for me. ( ha ) I do think he would get a little testy having his first grand baby in blue. (ha, ha ) So if this helps a little to narrow down units, I do have to say thank you again. It means a lot to me for the help. Since I have been a way from Va and renacting I kinda miss it, well I feel a part of me longing to be a part of it again. It's a part of my history and I don't want my son to not know how much that history means to the world today. So thank yah for the help. Hope to hear from you soon.
