Batman's "Egghead" & "Mr.Burns"

My young daughter noticed something I hadn't....that "Mr. Burns" on the "Simpsons" actually has many qualities in common with the villian "Egghead" (played by Vincent Price) on the 66 Batman series, most notable of course is the way they BOTH say "Eggcellent".
Given the obvious influence the 66 Batman series has on the "Simpsons" over the years, would anyone else think that the "Mr. Burns" style ,might be influenced by Price's version of Egghead?
