Global vs. local problem on board

Eric---I signed up "Globally" on your new board today thinking that would be the best way, but then I don't show up as a registered member of your particular board. Should I have registered "locally"? Pardon my inexperiance, but other than this board right here I don't do online boards or chatrooms EVER, so I'm a bit of a rookie to the new format! Thanks, Dan
