And all have answered many questions etc. I might add that one of those owners has been completely raked through the coals on this board in past years (not important why) and yet he couldn't have been more open and willing to share his car when I asked. So my experiance has been the owners and builders are friendly and open. And why not....they have a strong similar interest to anyone who loves the 66 Bat. We "Bat Geeks" have to stick together you know! I can't speak for them as to why some don't post, I know several regularly read the board and NEVER post.....my guess is that despite the best of intentions sooner or later somebody starts negatively picking the car or person and that's not why they built the car. I've actually thought about it myself as I near getting my kit once and for all, would I continue to post on the board at the risk of getting blasted for my best efforts and personal taste on MY car? Hard to say, but I can see why some stay quiet....spend 40K and people say your rearview mirror isn't shiney enough?? I hope though that your point is well taken, I too am here for the full size cars, everything else is great "extras"!! Dan

If it's any consolation Jeff, I have talked to half a dozen owners over the years and ALL have been very gracious and extended invitations to myself and others if there was any chance we'd be in the same town as they are.
