Has anyone been inspired to read the Sherlock Holmes adventures after watching the cartoon?
I've recently begun to be interested in the original adventures. Lucky for me, my mom has been a Sherlock Holmes fan for years, and has a nice, large book of stories.
It's called The Original Illustrated Sherlock Holmes, and is a collection of reprints of the short stories that appeared in The Strand Magazine, including the original illustrations (all 356) of Sidney Paget.
The stories are
1. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
2. The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes
3. Hound of the Baskervilles (Bonus book)
4. The Return of Sherlock Holmes
(Not sure how much we can post, so I left off the list of the stories in each group. If you want me to post the story list, just say so, and I'll post in a reply.)
