I don't agree with that Dan. My dog can do it both ways and its not that much different. Now if the slack was taken all out then it would be a different outcome. But that foot of slack is what makes the difference. And the dogs take off comes down to how you want your dog to take off. That momentum stuff doesn't affect them mentally on how to learn to take off. We have a big part in these dogs success in weight pulling. Take care friend.
