Hello Margo, Welcome to Accokeek, I have been here for 2 years. I have seen 2 snakes in my yard. They were not very big. I have a small lake in my backyard so I guess that is to be expected. We currently have a beaver in the lake that has been removed twice, but keeps coming back to complete his dam. We also have alot of deer, they have become more visiable due to all the new construction. Overall Accokeek is a great community. The heat in the summer is unreal, and last year we had a long drought. Tornadoes are possible as well as hurricanes in this area. --Previous Message-- : Hi!
