Thanks, Joyce. I have another question now--my husband was told by a co-worker to be aware of deer ticks. I have read up about them online and am quite concerned because they are sooooo small! Do I have to be paranoid just being out in my backyard, mowing, etc.? We have a small wooded area behind our house, but we have not seen any deer (I know they can live on squirrels, mice, etc. as well). I thought ticks would be contracted more if someone were hiking in the backwoods or something like that.
: Margo,

: Actually, most snakes around here are good.
: The little ones tend it eat bugs and small
: creatures. The bigger ones eat bigger
: rodents. If you don't like mice, you should
: love snakes. They hide under porches and
: might give you a scare if you see one, but
: they're just as afraid of you.
