The provincial election for rest of the Wards in Malaita has now confirmed for 15th January 2007.
Almost a month it has moved from the original date of 18th December 2006.
Many educated registered voters whom we thought they might cast their votes for a good leader will not be able to participate or vote in this election because they might returned to their work or students will return to schools. This is unfair and as far as I can see nothing much will be done about it. Perhaps the candidates we feel they are not good will return their seats again.
Anyway that's only a "FEELING" which neither right or wrong.
But update for Wards 19 & 20 in East AreAre the following candidates are confirmed and ready for the battle:
