Posted by Martin S. Hoasihere on 11/1/2007, 9:29 am Meanwhile the following are confirmed candidates for Wards 19 & 20: Ward 19 Ward 20 Looking at the above it is very competitive as I can't judged non of them. I was at home on Christmas and feeling by words for ward 19 many people talked about Ronny, Benjamin & Robinson Maeoriori in all age group. For ward 20 the battle is between John Baptist current member and Aloisio Arukeni. Lets pray that our people choose a good leader. More Updates on 16/1/07 so please check out. MSH

Voters in Wards 19 & 20 in East AreAre constituency will will go to cast their votes again on 15th January 2007 after the date had changed from 18th December 2006 as earlier scheduled.
The unfair view here is that many of the people (educated working people & students) whom we thought they might vote for a good change of leaders for the Wards will not be able to participate in voting because they all had now return to their various place of work and schools in Honiara and other parts of the provinces. The same feeling applies to other wards in Malaita.
This then remain the chances of those whom we feel rejected to get the power again.
But lets pray that things will work well for the coming election.
