Posted by Hiuare.W Take notice that Ashabhai & Company Ltd a Fiji based Company has applied to be registered proprietor of Solomon Blue and Solomon Chilli Taiyo pursuant to the Trade Marks Act of Fiji. This application appeared in the Republic of Fiji Islands Government Gazette Volume 7 on the 5th day of April, 2007. 3 months is given to any interested person or entity to object. Indeed, Solomon Taiyo Ltd and its shareholders have objection to make if the said application was made without any consideration on their part. Acquisition of the proprietary brands of Solomon Blue and Solomon Chilli by a foreign owned company without any consideration on the part of Solomon Taiyo Ltd, and its shareholders means a financial loss to Solomon Taiyo Ltd and generally to our local economy.
