I am yet to convince that these current logging activities has any where near to reaching this BUA. I think we should not associate this activity as it destroys the basis for any collective voice that would promote the BUA. Our Chiefs has less role to play under this current FRTU Act. Two case stood out very clear. First, Manawai timber hearing, Rara timber hearing. It is all in mess how it was conducted. No proper consultation prior to these very important meeting. It requires collaborative intervention now. Let alone Oloburi case becoming a lesson learnt for E/Areare.
