Kennie highlighted the issue that highlanders have being inaccessible to basic services since all government services so far are limited to coastal areas. No doubt, that is partially true.
Perhaps, one constitutional avenue for highlanders to exhaust is to meet the constituency boundary commission Mr. Alfred Maetia and submit a formal report requesting creation of new constituency boundary for highland region.
Through this avenue, no doubt highlanders would feel that they have their own political leader and perhaps allow them to work closer towards accessing better services from government and other sectors
I urge highland chiefs, leaders and members to exhaust this avenue so that by year 2010, we might have a new seat in the parliament house
