I have been urging Hon Edward Hunuehu and Hon Stanley Sofu that without legislating our customary land tenure system in SI, all developments are subject to all sorts of disputes. Hence, I call upon Minister for Land, Hon Sofu, Hon Haomae and Hon Edward Hunuehu to try to introduce a bill that incorporates customary land tenure system in Southern Region. Without that, no security to customary land tenure itself and equally no security to any development thereon. That is the problem we have at this time.
All our MPS visions and development plans are locked into this issue.
