What Ministers are we talking about here? The Ministers of the Crown (Cabinet) or the Malaita Provincial Executive Ministers? Regardless of what group of "Ministers" (Cabinet or Malaita Provincal Executive) we are talking about here, I do not wish to waste my time writing to them. Most, if not all, of them are more concerned about their own pockets rather than our nation's or province's or constituency's or ward's welfare. Personnally, I am of the view that we have had enough "meetings". Meetings after meetings, seminars after seminars, and workshops after workshops have been the trend in the government and quasi-government circles since time immemorial. As regards the AARTF review, the contributions to this forum cover a very wide spectrum of issues from very general comments to specific issues of discussion pertaining to specific geographical areas in 'Are 'Are. Apart from a few postings containing links to porno sites, a sizable contribution has also been posted by our legal professionals as well. In short, we have covered economic issues, business issues, legal issues and other social issues. At the moment, reviewing all the contributions to this forum is not a priority in my agenda of issues to address!! Too many Ghost writers and quite a few deceivers!! I am of the view that, if any of us is concerned about developing 'Are 'Are (socially or economically), then the best approach is to focus on our tribal landholding group (ARATA) within 'Are 'Are. Right now, my focus is the planning and the implementation of these plans, whether social or economic, in the ARATAs of Ward 25 of West 'Are 'Are. I think we have "generalised" enough and now is the time to be more "practically specific". I will be making more contributions next year 2004.
