Region 2 DVDs

Hi
I noticed there was some concern as to whether or not the Region 2 release of Season 1 would be going ahead as normal.
Amazon UK are still showing it as being released then, but Play.com describe is as"not currently available to order" so I'm not sure what to think.
I've pre-ordered it, so fingers crossed....
Anyone know any more at this stage ?
