After seeing Diane's info about the animal rescues in the NY area... well my first thought was that there wouldn't be many animals in the World Trade Center area and then *the lightbulb went off* what about all of the animals at home waiting for their *parent* to arrive (who couldn't of course because they weren't alive or they were in the hospital)... and basically my mind went off on a tangent of single pet owners who where injured and who couldn't get to their animals. Just one more little worry in this whole scenario... And do all of our *single parents* out there have a contigency plan for their critters?
