everything is slow... another possibility

I can get some sites I hit all the time to load fine and others not to at all. I got an email from the company the Blue Ridge Shetland Sheepdog site is through (I am the webmaster) stating that a major server in the US is having troubles (power outages) and there is trouble accessing things. It may be holding up quite a lot of traffic on the net.
