I may be fostering a deaf white Boxer for a while. In your opinion how long would be adequate to set my sights on to achieve a decent assesment of this two year old male (currently not neutered) with no background known on him (except that he was placed in a home with another dog and he jumped the fence and simply sat on the outside of it). I'm trying to get a handle on this as I am willing to foster but can't if it may be a really long term commitment due to the number of dogs I already have here. Do you think for example that two weeks would be adequate to get a good idea of what type of home he would best fit into and to get him started on some basic hand commands if I can? Thanks for any input.
