i have a 6 month old female pittbull mixed with boxer who was gave to me as a pup.she already weigh 50 or so pounds and looks just like a boxer except for the jaw line.She is fawn,and her name is pebbles.I also have a 2 year old son and a 4 month old daughter.She also stays in the house and is my second bull dog the first one i had was a white fullblooded pitt with blue eyes and i had to give her away as a pup because i moved into a studio appartment.I would like to know about some things about the breeds of this dog she is like part of my family already.I cant seem to house train her no matter what i do.I have kept her outside in a kennel during the day and then bring her in at night that didnt work all it did was run up my water bill from having to give her a bath so much.I have put down news paper,and spanked her with newspaper,i bought the dog training pads that dogs are supposed to use because of the odor and nothing works.I would also like some tips on training her to be obedient i want to send her through a K-9 unit school where the police send their dogs but dont know if they allow that and dont know how to contact the right people.I also want her to protect but not be mean.She is a great dog and has even won a first place trophie and 20 bucks at one of our small town festivals.everyone tells me when i walk her how good she is and how alert she seems to be.P.S.
