Hello all, this is my first time on this sight, not to mention, my first boxer baby. Her name is Roxy, she is 19 months old and spoiled 'ROTTON'. No doubt about it she is the most loyal,loving,devoted sweet dog ive ever owned. However, the problem i'm having is leaving her for any length of time. First she goes into this pouting sighing thing', (and makes me feel totally guilty), then on several occasions, has been very destructive in the house while im away. I leave the TV and a few lights on for her, but it does not seem to help. When I return, there's no doubt, she knows she's done wrong, I dont have to say a word, just a 'look' does the trick. Short of having to buy another dog for her, do you all have ANY suggestions?? She is my sweetie, I love her to death, but there are times when ive got to leave her. Pss, she does have access to a dog door when im not home.
PSSS, I am not on my home computer, so i cannot include a picture right now, but gladly will when I am on my system. thanks again
