Hello there, I just saw your message. I have always had boxers. Your dilema is very common among boxers. Their love for company is what makes them so wonderful but they are so needy.
I have done many things to curb this naughty behaviour. Crate training most breeders will tell you is the best!! My first boxer loved her crate. She went in it when she was tired every night without being told. She also stayed in it when we were gone for the day. My last boxer Caesar (huge male) was much better behaved so he stayed in the laundry room(main floor). No matter where you leave a boxer alone you should always remove temptation ie:shoes, garbage can, recycling anything that smells like food! She won't stop being naughty so give her something she is allowed to chew like a toy or a treat bone from pet store. Limit her area to roam.
Good luck owning a boxer is challenging!!!
