Location; Rockford is not a bad spot in my book. Of course when you live on I80 or North who wouldn't think it was a great location. The competition was fantastic. Some of the better matches were in the semis and quarter round brackets tho. You had to be aware to see them. The little Ramos winning against the little Spangler sticks out in my mind. Phemister and Edelen in the semis was a 2-1 battle. The Grand March was really cool. The brackets were up dated after every round. This state tournament has to be one of the best ran in the country. The ring leader should run the Danville National, and I don't mean Harry Poter. The bad...$3 for a bottle of water??? Get out of town. The concessions were way over priced. $2.50 for a "beef" dog...I felt like I was at new Comisky or what ever the hell the name of the crap ball park that is now. What a rip off! Parking could have been a little better. I think I'll buy a city permit next year so I can park. Getting out of the garage after the Friday break was a joke. The second weigh-in was a fiassco. Not sure what happend there. Other then being rip off by the Metro Center it was not all that bad. The ugly...the way I felt Friday morning. Ughh! Those white singlets I saw are not for wrestling. Vittum should trash them ASAP. St. Pattys day parade just about screwed up the entire tournamnet. If this is not addressed next year heads should roll. The lay out of the city is the wrost I've ever been threw and then to close off streets for that parade??? Kids were running for the Metro Center just to make the Medal rounds. Could the city of Rockford have any more stop lights? There was one on every corner. It took 30 minutes to travel 6 miles to the hotel. Peace rally my ass. Go to Iraq you losers. Did anyone else see this??? Over all it was a great time. Got to see all the dudes and dudet. Lucy looks hard and put away wet. Had a blast in the hotel-no-tell(not with Lucy you sick-o's). What's the best thing about the folkstyle season being over??? That means it Freestyle and Greco season!!!! Yaaaaahhhhoooooooooooooo.
