This is a school that has 16 top ten places,12 top 6 finishes as a team. Rock Island has had 77 individual placers. Anthony can not be blamed for the fall of a once Illinois wrestling force, but the High School, and athletic director Bob Swanson have given him no support over his tenure. I hope a new beginning, a fresh coach, and some much needed new equipment, and wrestling room will return the ROCKS back to the top of Illinois Wrestling. We need a big name in the wrestling community to get the job done! Anthony you are a great person and wish you well in the future!
Rock Island High School a wrestling history making team of old days has fired the current coach and past State placer for the Rocks, Anthony Harris.
