174 is a tough road for the boys -Riccio hits #5 Raymond Jordan --- Trongone hits #9 ranked Nathan Lee --- Giffen hits #11 ranked Brenner --- Caruso hits # 15 ranked Dergo ( gonna be tough slogging through the wrestlebacks I'm afraid . 184 has 2 real shots to place Vince Jones is coming on strong in his last hurray - with recent wins over #17 Ward (fall) and #21 Flynn and a close 8-5 loss to #2 Keddy - look for Jones to get past Kilgore and get at least to Smith in Quarters - might win that one too --- Umbehauer gets the 7 seed and will get a few rounds in but doesn't have the brutal schedule these other guys have to be battle tested at Rider - got handled 8-1 against #6 Patterson - gonna have to pick it up a notch to place - Hope both Sr's place but got a feel Jones may be the better bet . 197) Silber draws #1 seed Brester right out of the shoot --- Hudson Taylor who had as good a NCAA tourney taking 3rd last year winning 3 brutally close bouts is a mystery going in - His recent loss (fall) to Jones can be thrown out (he just beat him 12-0 ) but he has some losses (13-11 against Sorenson ) which gives you pause - If the question is can he do it - well yes he already did last year - will he do it - we'll know early enough in round 2 vrs #7 ranked Halsey (good gauge of exactly where he is against a comperably ranked kid ) Go Hudson love to see it again .
