If Caldwell was pushed off the platform or if he was injured that would have forced the official to call Flagrant Misconduct. That would have disqulified Metcalf and a deduction of all the points that he earned during the tourmament(40 points plus any bonus points earned). That would have taken away Iowa's championship and probably a top 10 finish. What an uproar that would have caused!I can just see Brands jumping up and down and going after Metcalf.
