Sorry sir. You must be Mr. Saulle or someone related to the family to believe the last Merkle was 2. Rule book clearly states the wrestlers weight must be supported on TWO hands in order for the takedown to be awarded. Visicaro's hands tapped the mat in almost a "pitty pat" kind of way. Close to two, yes. Was it two? Absolutely not.
And if you would like to discuss Saulle from top, we can go over how he stalled for 2 periods against Broderick. Film can be provided on that match as well, and i believe the entire arena was booing. We can also review Saulle's time outs for injury time where all he needed to do was sit down and catch his breath and drink some water. The ref made the right call in the finals when Saulle walked towards his corner for a break and the ref said "no way".
