It is with deep sadness that I pass on the news I received this morning from Steve Singleton.
Joyce passed away peacefully last night just before 11pm.
This is a very sad loss to her family, friends and anyone involved in youth football who knew her. Her contribution to youth football in general was immense; particularly to AFC Hiltingbury, Eastleigh & District Mini Soccer League and to this league, where she had been Registration secretary for 8 seasons. It is impossible to put into words how much the time and effort she put in will be missed. She took on whatever role that was asked of her and set a standard that few could match.
That aside, she will be missed as a lovely, kind and generous friend, a loving mother and wife.
Our thoughts are with Steve and the boys at this time.
