She says the federal campaign has been filled with problems and she hopes the worst is behind the party. "The campaign has been a comedy of errors. It was like the Keystone Kops running around," said Parrish. A longtime Martin supporter, she says the election call should have come in the fall or next spring. "I just wish in retrospect we would have waited a little bit longer, because I have some very fine colleagues in very shaky ridings that won't be coming back," said Parrish. She says she's worried the Liberals are going to lose the election, and the Conservatives are going to win a minority government. Parrish attracted widespread attention last year when she called Americans "bastards" during an Ottawa press scrum in the leadup to the Iraq war. She later apologized for the remark.

TORONTO - Calling her party's campaign a "comedy of errors," an outspoken Liberal MP from Ontario says Paul Martin should have waited until fall to call an election.
