The unite the right Tory model has failed, if you believe that Reformers must once again set the agenda in this country then I encourage you to join the Reform association of Ontario(Reform Ontario) Our goals for the near future are 1) To promote the policies and principles of Reform 2) Develop policy positions on provincial issues 3) Build a membership base. We are also putting together a website that should be up shortly. As far as whether we become a political party(Federally or provincially) or just a lobby group we will leave to a later date to be decided. The numbers show that the merger has failed not only in Ontario where both the Liberals and merged Conservatives lost votes to the NDP from the 2000 election but also in BC where the Conservatives took 36.2% of the vote,down from the Alliance 49% of 2000. Saskatchwan also saw a drop of voter support from 47.7% in 2000 for the Alliance to 41% this election for the Conservative party. The results show that Ontario alone is not to blame for the results, its time Reformers reunite as a political voice and set the agenda in this country otherwise if we do not then the agenda will be set by the 19 NDP MP's elected which will be pushing for more Kyoto, C-250's,deficit financing!
