He has fully demonstrated that he is no mere politician. In his previous capacity as leader and during his current leadership campaign he dealt with issues and challenges forthrightly -- not stooping to the level of invective and smear so freely indulged in by those who challenged him. He responded to the points at issue -- not to the cheap-shot tactics of his detractors. By restoring that kind of integrity to the parliamentary process -- a Canadian Alliance government led by Prime Minister Day will be able to gradually clear the decks of Liberal impediments and provide elbow-room for We-The-People to conduct our lives in accordance with our individual aspirations and convictions. Day's slogan --"Standing For What's Right" involves more than simply "Getting it RIGHT" -- as Harper's slogan has it. Day's "Standing For What's Right" is inclusive of the diversity that is Canada. Harper's "Getting it RIGHT" implies a rigorous right wing attitude that excludes a great many Canadians who are not committed holus bolus to right wing philosophies but who are nevertheless fully functioning Canadians. He has said as much in his typically circular manner of evading direct statements on such issues. An Alliance government led by Prime Minister Stockwell Day will raise Canada out of its current role as blundering comic on the global stage. Canada will regain and fulfill its role as a respected and fully functioning representative of Western Democracy. The restoration of integrity to parliament will gradually clear the decks and provide elbow-room for the legitimate application of the kind of entrepreneurial endeavour that built this once-great nation. Canada will emerge from its dingy Lib/Tory/NDP dungeon and resume its rightful place on the world stage. All of the foregoing has been clearly portrayed in word and deed by Stockwell Day and his supporters and well-wishers. Canada needs a Canadian Alliance government led by Prime Minister Stockwell Day. That is the next campaign to be won. Alliance -- INVICTA!
Stockwell Day: no mere politician
