I have a three year old male birman but I think I'm not at home enough (work and social life) because he often meows to be patted. I want to get another cat soonish. I was thinking a female burmese because I've heard they have gorgeous personalities. Will a burmese keep my birman happy and vice versa? I hear burmese need lots of attention and if I'm away from home a fair bit, is it inappropriate to get one? Is it OK to have a burmese outside during the day while I'm at work?
