Mine do it all the time - they catch whatever they find interesting enough - and we keep saving whatever we can - lizards, birds, bugs, even FROGS somethimes. I would still not deprive them from their outdoor time, and I must admit I never even try to dicourage them from doing what I believe is just so natural for them to do. They have to have fun and life as well! I even find it cute how my cats do real cat things that they suppose to do - my hunters are the Burmese, my brown smoke Oriental and the Devon...the rest of them cannot be bothered. The cats are part of environmental balance I guess, so they need to do their jobs, even though we do not like it. Marianna

I agree with Bronnie...if you let your cats outside where the lizards and other animals live, you have to put up with this hunting and playing thing too.
these three kitties are really good though, they have never ever killed anything in their lives, they are not interetsed in hunting...
