Ah, I think I've decided on a Burmilla now after all that discussion. I don't want my Birman tormented by a Burmese! Everything I"ve read about Burmillas is good. Can you give me any negatives about this breed? What I want in a cat: - smallish breed - short - medium hair - flattish, round face - friendly and affectionate but not demanding - no known health problems - intelligent - chatty but not a whinger - good looking (shallow, I know) I don't really like the oriental look (except for the big ears which are cute) nor the persian because their faces look squashed. I think my Birman is the cutest cat in the world but he won't sit on my lap either because he's too big or not affectionate enough. Thanks Cats of Australia forum posters!
