Posted by Marianna on August 6, 2006, 6:14 pm I know I was away for a while, I simply do not have time at the moment for chatting (I have a new job, uni work is preassuring, family problems are challenging too), hopefully around the end of this year I will be in better position to catch up with everybody here. The reason I am here is - a lovely vet from Werribee rescued a 18 weeks old baby Birman, chocolate point kitten from a man who wanted to euthanise her because he did not want to pay for next 2 vaccinations, vet checks and annual boosters. They bought the kitten for BREEDING and when he realised there will be vet expenses involved, he (the husband) decided to put the kitten down without telling anything to his family. He thinks it's far too much money, not worth the kitten... The vet asked him to sign the kitten over to her (she could not kill this perfectly healthy, young kitten) and she is now looking for a responsible, loving permanent home for the baby. The kitten has no papers, needs to be reimmunised (she has the 1st needle),and desexed, but she is in perfect health and has the most beautiful temperament - likes to be on your shoulder, and she likes dogs. She does not cost anything. Free kitten to people who want to offer her a better home. I hope someone will be able to adopt this bub... cheers to you all
