When a kitten attacks, it's best to do what the mother would, take a finger and gentle push on his forehead and hold it there. If he continues attacking, walk away. Obviously when he does behave, then praise him, even give him treats. Desexing may help to settle him and 5 months more than old enough to neuter. Be patient and perservere with him.
