And yet there has been no progress. 3. It would be for the kids/players and not just Goody. Heck, when my son played in 2003 they didn't even have hot water to shower in most of the time. 4. Have you been to Trail's facility? They don't have money either but they passed a levy to build an athletic facility. 5. Meadowbrook is in worse financial shape than us and their facility is better than ours. 6. Personally I would like restrooms and I don't think it is too much to ask. 7. Working in a concession stand that is safe shouldn't be too much to ask either. 8. Have you walked on our practice field and game field? It is amazing that there are not more injuries. 9. We have a groundskeeper willing to improve the field but has been told he is not to plow the field and reseed. 10. To my knowledge there has not been a campaign to raise funds for a fieldhouse. Beginning a campaign was discussed at least since 2000 and yet nothing has ever happened. The kids have good equipment, t-shirts, and sweatshirts, but their facilities are embarrassing. Take a tour of the locker rooms, restrroms, and showers, in addition to the concession stand, porta pots, and stands. There is much work to be done. I've been told Wojo, Dave Sneddon, and others are going to tear up the game and practice field and start over. That will be a big plus, if it gets done. READ BroadCATster's post. He is right on.
