OVAC announces all-conference baseball picks, rosters for Monday's Kovalick All-Star Game
The Ohio Valley Athletic Conference announced its all-conference team as well as the players who will take part in the annual George Kovalick/OVAC All-Star Classic at Steubenville's Vaccaro Field on Monday.
CHS players gaining all-OVAC recognition include Steve Harris and Dillon Van Dyne.
Players named all-conference were submitted by their respective coaches, with the league champions receiving three spots, teams making the semifinals getting two each and the rest allotted one spot each.
Cambridge's Timmy Harvey will be on the Ohio squad for Monday's all-star game while CHS grad and Buckeye Trail head baseball coach Jason Wilkin will be on the Buckeye state coaching staff.
The evening's activities will begin at 5 p.m. with a pro tryout followed by the game at 8 p.m.
