Shay LaFollette returned home from the AAU Nationals as a 2nd Team All-American in 2 events.
She placed 16th in the pentathlon, setting PR's in 2 of the 5 events as Stacey Destin of Boynton Beach, Florida established a new national record in the event with 3340 points.
She then placed 16th in the 100 meter hurdles with Natisha Dixon of Marietta, Georgia winning with a time of 14.73.
She also placed 26th in the 200 hurdles and 18th in the high jump. Stacey Destin established what was announced as a "World Record" in the high jump with a leap of 5'9". (This is by a 13 year old girl!)
