CAMBRIDGE -- Barnesville High earned a clean sweep past host Cambridge and Meadowbrook in cross country action on Wednesday.
In boys' action, the Shamrocks took the top three spots and finished with 18 points for an easy win. Cambridge was next at 51 and Meadowbrook finished with 68.
Barnesville's Brennan Delaney (16:31) took first place followed by teammates Wesley Lewis (16:52) in second and Brandon Stephens (17:55) in third. Other finishers included Kody Crooks (18:31-5th), Clay Huntsman (18:57-7th), Katlin Grimes (19:12-9th), Chris Baker (20:09-12th), Abel Broomhall (20:39-19th) and Kyle Burkhart (22:45-27th).
Meadowbrook was led by Dallas Guy, who turned in a fourth place finish with a time of 18:08 while Matt Cobb took 11th place in 19:47. Rounding out the Colts' effort were Phil Lestock (20:33-16th), Steve Wengerd (20:34-17th), John Janczarek (20:53-20th) and Mike Haynes (21:55-26th).
The top finisher for Cambridge was Daniel Mullen with a sixth place effort of 18:37, followed by Noah Barr in the eighth slot at 19:04. Logan Kasinecz (19:34-10th), Jimmey Allen (20:12-13th), J.T. Good (20:13-14th), Nate Frazier (20-19-15th), Tim Fox (20:37-18th), Jason Dunlap (20:54-21st), Greg Fox (21:06-22nd), Phillip Krall (21:12-23rd), Wesleigh Lewis (21:25-24th) and Steve Price (21:33-25th) completed the Bobcats scoring.
Karly Jones' first place time of 20:36 helped push Barnesville to the victory in the girls' race with a score of 26. Cambridge finished second with 41, with Meadowbrook checking in with 58.
Allison Healey of Barnesville was third in 21:43 with teammate Amy Wahl right behind in fourth at 22:11. Other Lady Shamrocks times were Melanie Baker (23:09-7th), Nichole Burkhart (23:31-11th), Sara McGee (24:00-14th) and Taylor Cameron (26:10-18th).
Pacing the Lady Bobcats' effort was Tiffany Ingram in fifth place with 22:46 while Abbie Orr took sixth in 22:51. Other Cambridge runners included Alyssa Giesey (23:14-8th), Beth Waddell (23:24-10th), Emilee Waddell (23:40-12th) and Rachel Jamiel (25:27-16th).
For Meadowbrook, Katie Dettra finished second in 21:15 followed by Tyler Matesic (23:23, 9th), Kristen Pratt (23:40, 13th), Summer Reese (24:46, 15th), Carrie Waers (27:45, 19th), Breann Jones (27:54, 20th) and Autumn Lathan (33:17, 21st).
