CAMBRIDGE -- The Bobcats made quick work of invading Bellaire on Monday, sweeping the Big Reds 25-4, 25-14, 25-6. Cambridge improved to 14-2 on the season, while Bellaire dropped to 2-14.
“We played hard and didn’t play down to the level of the competition at all, stated a pleased Rod Johnson of Cambridge. “We got some people opportunities to play positions they don’t play a lot, and it was a good team game. We hope to have a good practice Tuesday in anticipation for Indian Creek coming to our place Wednesday.”
Against Bellaire, Katie Caldwell was 25-of-25 serving, while recording 5 aces, and was 12-of-12 passing with six digs. Alysa Rice finished 11-of-11 serving with a pair of aces and 14 assists.
Rebecca Cline was a perfect 19-of-19 passing, while recording seven digs, while Maggie Starr added five digs and Jordan Miller had 10 assists.

What we allow, we encourage.
