WEST LAFAYETTE -- The golf team closed out the season with a loss to host Ridgewood and Coshocton in triangular action Wednesday night at River Greens Golf Course.
Coming out on top was Ridgewood with a total of 168, followed by the Redskins at 172, with the Bobcats checking in with a 190.
Cambridge ends its season with a mark of 12-74, but Bobcats' coach Kevin Smith is optimistic about next season.
"Obviously we have a lot of improvement to do," Smith said. "We are very young and if the kids get out and play alot over the summer, I feel we can be much improved next season."
Tanner Stoffer of Ridgewood took medalist honors with a 37 while Ty Davis finished with 41 followed by Hobie Hardesty with 44 and Brandon Fellows at 46.
Coshocton was paced by the trio of John Butcher, Kyle Corder, and Jordan Thompson each with a round of 42, C.J. Heller's 46 rounded out the Redskins' scoring.
Austin Wilkenson led the Bobcats with a 39, while Levi Parsons was next at 49 followed by Nathan Wright with 50 and Abby Marlin at 52
