WEST LAFAYETTE -- West Lafayette Ridgewood, shooting a team 307, claimed the team title in the Eastern District Open Golf Tournament at River Greens Golf Course on Saturday.
Locally, New Concord John Glenn finished fifth with a team 325 score with Cambridge sixth (331) and Byesville Meadowbrook ninth (334).
Garaway was second (309), St. Clairsville third (317) and Martins Ferry fourth (319). Host Coshocton claimed seventh (333) followed by Tuscarawas Valley (334), West Muskingum (334), Maysville (336), Minerva (339), Indian Valley (340), Dover (45), Hiland (345), Strasburg (352), Steubenville (353), River View (355), Morgan (355), West Holmes (356), Claymont (371) and Union Local (417).
Ryan Troyer of Garaway picked up match medalist honors by carding a five-under 67.
Trevor Wilkinson paced the Bobcats of Cambridge carding a 78 and other scorers for the 'Cats were: Skyler Roederer (80), Ben Standiford (85) and Tyler Hitzle (88).
NEXT-- Cambridge will join Marietta and host Zanesville at the Zanesville Country Club on Wednesday for an Interstate Golf League match with a 2 p.m. start.
