Despite trouncing East Liverpool (0-7), the 'Cats fell three spots this week to the 12th position in the D-III, Region 11 standings.
As far as playoffs, I believe the 'Cats may have to win out. Not sure if splitting with Zanesville and Dover will do it.
In all reality, the 'Cats are currently in the playoffs. They are assured of three more regular season games. But, keep winning and they will keep playing. Each game has to be viewed as an elimination game. Lose to Dover and the playoffs may be in the rear view mirror. Beat Dover on the road and hope remains for a playoff bid.
Our opponents' lack of success is killing this season. Our wins give us the fourth-highest level one average in the entire region. But the lack of wins by the teams we've beaten gives us the thirteenth-highest level two average in Region 11.
