That's where we have to hope we can slide up to. You never can tell when dealing with high school kids. I will say that most successful, well-established programs aren't going to allow themselves to be upset at this point in time.

The 'Cats have the fifth highest level 1 points average among Region 11 schools. Level 1 points are awarded based on the division of the schools you've beaten. The problem arises with level two points where the 'Cats have the 12th highest level 2 average. Level 2 points are awarded from the division of the schools who have been beaten by the schools you have beaten.
#5 Canal Fulton Northwest (7-2) hosts Barberton (3-6)
- Northwest wins easily. New Philadelphia made the Magics disappear, 49-10, at Barberton early in the season.
- Projection: Northwest, 46-7
- Likely a win for The Creek. Edison three wins come against teams with an overall record of 5-21, and Rayland Buckeye Local has all five of those wins.
- Projection: Indian Creek, 35-13
- Canfield comes in at #7 in D-II, Region 5 and must have this game to qualify for the playoffs. Canfield is the only team to beat Dover this year. Possibly a little help for the 'Cats here. The Cardinals had Dover down 20+ points in the fourth quarter before withstanding a furious Dover rally.
- Projection, Canfield, 27-26
- Can Sheridan still be reeling from a pasting at the hands of Tri-Valley Friday? New Lexington is still alive in Region 11 and a win over Sheridan would give the Pabthers a huge amount of second level points. So much so that they could pass the 'Cats. I guess we have to pull for New Lex to beat the team ahead of us and let the chips fall where they may.
- Projection: Sheridan, 27-20
- Cross towns rivals at odds here. Alliance has been eliminated from the playoff race in D-II, Region 5. Alliance comes in losing three-of-four games, including a loss at Carrollton (2-7) which eliminated them. The Aviators have zero wins against a team with a winning record. Even though they're out, how sweet would it be to knockout your cross town rival before you go?
- Projection: Marlington, 41-24
- I think the Vikings have packed it in and won't give much resistance to Granville's Blue Aces.
- Projection: Granville, 44-26
- May be close until the 9:00 mark of the first quarter. Fortunately, Meadowbrook will give us more second level points than four other teams we've beaten this year. For that, we thank you Colts. Again, opponents we've beaten are killing us. Combined record of teams we've beaten is 18-44. John Marshall (0-8) will lose to Wellsburg Brooke. Mount Vernon (2-7) will loss to New Albany (7-2). River View (2-7), coming fresh off their upset of Rosecrans, will come back to earth in a hard way as they get pasted by Coshocton (7-2), who's coming off a 38-7 loss at Hartley (8-0). New Philadelphia (7-2) travels to Dover (8-1). Would like to say this is a toss up but....well let's just hope for Philly to pull it out. Marietta (2-7) will lose to Zanesville (5-4) unless the Devils are already thinking about hoops season. Even then, likey a Blue Devil victory.
- Projection:, Cambridge, 49-8
- Easily a victory for the 'Stangs. Nearly in the same boat as the 'Cats. Opponents they've beaten are 23-40. Doesn't appear they'll get a significant amount of second level points this week.
- Projection: Claymont, 56-8
- see above.
- Projection: Sheridan, 27-20
What we allow, we encourage.
