Cambridge recently had its Volleyball Awards Banquet with the following honorees for the 2011 season. Front row, l to r, Lexie Ball, second year varsity award, Most Improved, District 12 honorable mention; Vontisa Harvey, third year varsity award, Best Passing Percentage, Most Improved, District 12 first team, ECOL second team, OVAC 5A first team and Player of the Year; Emilee Thompson, first year varsity award. Back row, Brianna Harbin, second year varsity award, Most Improved, District 12 honorable mention; McKenzie Wolfe, first year varsity award, Best Serving Percentage; Jordan Miller, third year varsity award, District 12 honorable mention, OVAC 5A first team; Brittany Berger, third year varsity award, Best Attacking Percentage, District 12 first team, ECOL first team, OVAC 5A first team; Mallory Taylor, first year varsity award , Most Improved. Three players were also recognized for school records, including Miller, assists for career (1833), season (754) and match (56); Harvey, kills for career (886), season (340) and match (31) along with service aces in a season (59) and match (14); and Berger, kills percentage for season (44) and career (43).
