Posted by JENNIFER on 7/23/2007, 11:00 am Hey Everyone, Some of you may remember some time ago when I told you that a former boss of mine from a day care here in town is now working as the nursery director at my church. Well this prayer request is for her. My friend's name is Karyn and in the course of talking to her during Sunday school this morning, I found out that she has cancer. I forget now what the name of the cancer is, but it has to do with the endocrine system. She has tumors that come up in different places. There is no cure for this cancer. Chemo and/or radiation aren't options right now. They aren't even being discussed at this point. She will be having surgery at some point. She also has a pacemaker. She said today that something is wrong with the wires on that and she is going to have to have surgery sometime soon to fix that. She doesn't know when yet, though. She'll be going to the doctor this week and finding out more about that. She knows that I won't be there next Sunday, so she'll update me the next week. When I know more about what's going to happen, I'll update everyone. I know she really appreciates the prayers. Thank you all so much.
