I ask, believe, and gratefully receive from God.
Today’s Daily Word
On its Way
When I am unsure or unable to see my way through a difficult circumstance, I know
where to turn for immediate help. In heartfelt prayer, I ask God for answers that will
lead me to greater good and for the understanding to recognize that good.
God is the fulfillment of every need I may experience, the answer to every question
I may ask, and the solution to every problem that appears in my life. In loving and
trusting anticipation, I believe in the unfoldment of my answered prayer even before
I see any evidence of it.
Thank God, for new good is on its way to me. Love, health, guidance, and prosperity
are flowing to me and through me in wondrous ways. I pray in faith and receive with
a grateful heart.

OUR DAILY PRAYER TIME
Heavenly Father, may I feel Your guiding hand on my
shoulder today Lord. Lead me onto paths toward those
who need my help, . In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen
Father in Heaven, I am thankful for the gifts that you have bestowed upon
me over the decades. The gift of love, sight, smell, touch, understanding,
and the gift of faith. Through my faith in You and Your Son I know that
whatever I ask for in faith I shall receive in some form or another. I thank
You Father for the good that is on its way to me at this time and for all
time to come.
I thank You too for the good that has been accomplished by our troops in
the Middle East. I ask for Your continued guidance and protection for the
men and women who are deployed in harms way.
I pray these things this day in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

On Tuesday, September 11th, 2007, an American f lag should be displayed
outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States.
Every individual, should make it their duty to display an American flag on
this anniversary of our country's worst tragedy. We do this in honor of
those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones
who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home
and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.
In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in
American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood
shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but
disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it
shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American
flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over
terrorism of all kinds.

GOD BLESS AMERICA
Someday I may figure out this silly machine. Seems like at least
half of the graphics I use in each edition of QUIETimes never makes
it to your mailbox and that really upsets me because I put so much
effort into choosing just the right graphics to go into these mailings.
This is payday for the lawn crews and it’s my job to get it all ready
and then pay the guys at the end of the day. It’s amazing how happy the
guys are to see me on Friday afternoons. I also have to get to Publix
this afternoon to pick up a few essentials for the house like kitty litter
and more cat food. Maybe I might get me some Gene food too!!
Hey do you realize this is the end of the summer months? Tomorrow
is September all ready. A lady called on the railroad phone and asked
if we were going to be open this weekend due to the holiday, I like a big
dummy asked her, “What holiday is this weekend?” She laughed and said
it’s Labor Day weekend and I was blindsided, I thought Labor Day was
still a couple of weeks away – sheesh!
Thought for the day:
