THIS WAS AND IS A HORRIBLE OCCURANCE THAT HAS TAKEN PLACE HERE. WORDS CAN NOT REALLY EXPLAIN THE IMPACT THE EFFECT IT HAS HAD ON THE COMMUNITY. THERE WAS APPROX. 30.000 PPL THAT CAME IN TO SAY THEIR REGARDS TO THE FAMILY AND THE CHILDREN. WE HAD A MESSAGE FROM THE POPE! THE BISHOP WAS THERE AND I WATCHED ON TV FOR I WAS NOT ABLE TO GO BUT IT WAS ALSO FULL AND PPL WERE TURNED AWAY HAVING TO DO THE SAME. ONE PRIEST OF WHICH I KNOW , WHILE SAYING HIS WORDS TO THE FAMILY AND COMMUNITY, BROKE DOWN AND CRIED. THAT WAS SOMETHING FOR ME AND MY BABY WHO KNEW ALL THE CHILDREN INVOLVED! ALL THE STORES AND ANY BUSINESS WAS CLOSED THAT DAY TO SHOW REPEST TO THE GRIEVING FAMILIES. I THOUGH THAT WAS INCREDIBLE. THERE WAS A CHILD IN ALBERTA THAT FOUND OUT HOW MANY PPL WERE AT THE GYM GRIEVING AND COUNSELLORS AND SENT THEM PIZZA!! ANOTHER KID IN N.S. IS MAKING UP T.SHIRTS WITH THE TEAM'S LOGO ON IT AND WILL WEAR IT FOR ONE OF THE GAMES ECT AND IS GOING TO COME TO THE SCHOOL AND GIVE I BELIEVE ONE SHIRT TO THE TEAM AS A MERMORIAL. THEY WILL MAKE A MERMORIAL AT THE SCHOOL AND ALSO WHERE THE SITE WAS.
THIS HAS AFFECTED SO MANY PPL THAT IT IS SO HARD TO DISCRIBE AND WILL TAKE ALONG TIME FOR THE KIDS TO GET BY.
AGAIN, THANK YOU FOR ANY PRAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN SAID FOR ANY OR ALL OF THE PPL INVOLVED.
