the last i heard, he was writing the books but the publishers were saying no. after reading _blind mirror_ i can sort of see why. (it was excellent, but extremely weird, and if i hadn't already been a fan of the man i probably would have called it a flaming pile of crap. i'm rather biased.) i hope he gets some more stuff out soonish though.
